PCM manages its DI strategy to generate income and long-term capital appreciation. The DI strategy’s investable universe includes dividend-paying common equities, preferred stocks, exchange-traded funds, and bonds. The tactical allocation of the DI strategy is to maximize income while controlling risk via asset class diversification. PCM’s fundamental value approach to common equity selection is generally applied; however, with all investment decisions, income is prioritized.
